Leon Jeanne has been admitted to the Priory in a bid to rehabilitate him
from his alcohol and drug addictions. The troubled youngster is currently on a suspended sentence from the FAW after testing positive for class A drugs. It appears that his season is over and the club are hoping to get him sorted and ready for next season. Alan Cork said "Leon's gone to The Priory. He'll be in there for four to six weeks. Hopefully the professional help there will sort him out and we'll get him back playing again. The boys got a serious problem but he's a lovely lad and we've all tried really hard for him. I just hope he comes out cured and a new man. He's still got a contract here and hopefully he'll come back and will be fit for next season." Jeanne's last first team apearance was against Newtown in the FAW Premier Cup, a game in which he scored. He was a non playing substitute when City beat Wycombe in January. |
