Cardiff City football fans have a a full week of football coming up. There are 5 important games in the next 8 days.

First up its a crucial home game against Swindon Town on Saturday. Anything less than a home win will be seen as a disaster. Home form has been hit and miss with far too many drawn games. But tomorrow a win could see City move up the table and push closer to the play off places.

Then its first team action again on Tuesday. Away this time at Brentford. The Bees are play off rivals and recently put 4 past Brighton at Griffin Park. City beat them 3 - 1at Ninian Park in December. It's a winnable game but will be difficult.

Then on Wednesday there are two games in Cardiff. Cardiff City reserves entertain Oxford Utd. Peter Thorne and Spencer Prior will be aiming to prove their fitness ahead of the weekends match at Wigan.

The second game on Wednesday is at the Millennium Stadium. Wales v Argentina. Cardiff City are represented by Rob Earnshaw and Daniel Gabbidon. It's unlikely that they will play in the game as they will only have joined up with the squad on the morning of the match. But a place on the bench would be a fantastic achievement. Alan Cork told the official site that they players would not play for Wales but would just be there for the experience, I would hope he is wrong and even if they only get 10 minutes each at the end it would make many thousands of City fans in the Millennium Stadium very happy.

The following Saturday its then back to the real world again. Wigan v City from the fantastic JJB Stadium. Leo FW is suspended for that game so there could be a return for Peter Thorne if he comes through the reserve game OK.

Even the following week there is no let up with City at home on the Tuesday and the Saturday against Bury and Cambridge, two teams at the bottom end of the table.
