Holloway has apologised for his outburst and subsequent sending off from the Q.P.R. bench
on Tuesday night. "I apologise for my behaviour. I lost my cool and I shouldn't do that, but I was totally incensed by the referee's decision." Holloway told the Western Mail. "I was ashamed of my own behaviour. My passion spilled over and I've got to look at that because I want to lead in the right way," Ian Holloway was dismissed when he blew his top over the sending off of goalscorer Richard Pacquette. Holloway was also incensed over the referee George Cain. "I've been involved in games with Cain before and I've never had a problem with him, but when you come to a place like Ninian Park, where the fans get behind their team, you need the referee to be strong and I don't think he was in the second half." The Rangers manager was full of praise for the City fans "Credit to the Cardiff fans, they're passionate and they get behind their team. I never have a problem with that because football is all about passion."I wish Cardiff all the best. It's a club moving forward and I don't have a problem with their fans - I wish we had a few thousand more like them at QPR." Rangers remain three points behind City having played a game more. The draw did no real favours to either club. |
