Lennie Lawrence has told the official website
that probably only Des Hamilton of the returning players could be involved
against Blackpool this Saturday. Des is likely to start on the bench after
coming through the reserve team game on Thursday. Jason Bowen is an outside
chance of a place on the bench but unlikely. Rhys Weston who took a knock to the head, had mild concussion so will not be able to play. As reported yesterday Lee Kendall joined the injured parties. Mark Bonner, David Hughes, Gavin Gordon and Earnie are all still out. With Kavanagh returning after suspension I would guess he would replace Paul Brayson. Layton Maxwell should have done enough to keep his place in the team. Based upon the above I would expect the following line up (if Lennie sticks with the wing back formation).
Alexander Subs Walton, Leo FW, Simpkins, Brayson, Hamilton. Previews and any other team news to follow on Friday. |
