Former
City striker Dai Thomas has been jailed for 60 days. Thomas was caught on camera throwing
an advertising hoarding towards Leeds Utd fans on Jan 6th. He admitted one count of
threatening and violent behaviour and as well as the jail term has been banned from all
football grounds in England and Wales for 6 years. Cardiff City have effectively given him a life ban but he has the right to appeal against that after 7 years, Cardiff City add a one year ban to any imposed by the courts. Thomas' defence said after the sentence was given "My client believes he has been given a fair sentance and just wants to get on with it and then get on with the rest of his life" |
