City reserves failed to qualify from their group after a goalless draw at Swindon this afternoon. The Bluebirds have finished runners up in their league cup group with a win, a draw and a defeat and a total of 4 points. City needed to win the game to overtake Bristol City who are now the group winners and they progress to the League Cup semi final knock out stages. City now have had three goalless draws in the last four games. The next reserve fixture is an Avon Combination League match next Wednesday March, 13th at Ninian Park v Bristol Rovers. THIS GAME IS AN EVENING KICK OFF AT 7:00pm. The teams today lined up as follows Swindon line-up: Farr, Hall, P Edwards, Reed, B Smith, Thomas, Collins, Halliday, R Williams, Richards, Brayley. Subs: Crosby, Hughes, Herring, Walton, McKinney.
