Andy Campbell was allocated squad number 22, Kevin Nugent's old number,  when he joined Cardiff City.

City currently have 33 numbered squad players. Here is a breakdown of their whereabouts / current situations.

16 of the first team squad were on duty at Northampton on Saturday. They are

Alexander, Low, Weston, Young, Gabbidon, Legg, Boland, Maxwell, Brayson, Thorne, Campbell, Prior, Leo FW, Simpkins, Collins, Walton.

2 other first team squad members, the only two fit and available who did not make the 16 were Gethin Jones and Martyn Giles. Graham Kavanagh missed the game through suspension.

City currently have the following first team players in the treatment room

Earnshaw, Gordon, Bowen, Bonner, Hamilton, Hughes.

Also injured but out of the reckoning is transfer listed Kurt Nogan. Leon Jeanne is recovering from his addiction problems.

Players who are not first team choices but are still squad players are

Andrew Jordon (t/list) and youngsters Byron Anthony and Nicky Fish.

City have three players in the squad who are currently out on loan

Andy Thompson (t/list) is currently in his second month's loan spell at Shrewsbury, Kevin Evans (t/list) is at Boston Utd,  while Lee Kendall along with youth player Simon Heall are at Haverfordwest.
