lennie.jpg (8009 bytes)Lennie Lawrence has been officially unvelied as Director of Football at Ninian Park.

Lennie will be the experienced hand to help Alan Cork and will hope to be able to guide Cardiff City into the first division. Lawrence has taken Charlton and Middlesbrough into top flight football and will provide invaluable experience to Alan Cork.

Cork must now work closely with Lawrence and put things right on an off the pitch. Cork's last paid help, Ian Atkins, was a disaster and the same situation cannot be allowed to happen again.

City are currently 10th in Division 2 and 11 points off the top spot. Promotion is not impossible but it will take some work to achieve it. Good luck to Lennie Lawrence and welcome to Ninian Park.

Lawrence's first match is th FA Cup game and then he has a week to work with Cork and the players before the match against Peterborough on Jan 12th.
