legg2.jpg (12893 bytes)Andy Legg could be the only change to the City team ahead of Sundays Cup match. Legg will return at left back after the return to Middlesbrough of Dean Gordon.

At 35 Legg is relishing the chance of playing a massive game at Ninian Park, speaking to the press today Legg said

"If I'm picked - the manager is still keeping his cards close to his chest about the team - it will be the biggest game of my City career. I'd love to be in the team, as everyone would, because it's going to be a fantastic occasion for the club and the supporters. When you look at the Leeds team, on paper we haven't got much chance. But this is the FA Cup, you just never know. It'll be a special experience for some of the youngsters - players like Danny Gabbidon and Robert Earnshaw - to play against the likes of Mark Viduka, Robbie Fowler and Harry Kewell. It's frightening when you look at who they've got at Leeds. If I play, I think I'd like to be marking one of their slowest players!"

Legg will then start to negotiate his future with City, his current contract runs out in the summer and if he is not offered a deal by City or by a club in the Nottingham area where his wife comes from then he will hang up his boots.

So City then could expect to run out

Alexander, Gabbidon, Prior, Young, Legg, Boland, Bonner, Kavanagh, Bowen, Earnshaw, Gordon. Subs from Low, Hughes, Maxwell, Brayson, Weston, Leo FW.

Leeds United have not made any announcements as to their team selection but they are treating the game very seriously. They cannot afford the embarrassement of a cup upset and may continue with the team that beat West Ham to go top of the Premiership. That line up was
