Layton Maxwell capped a man of the match performance by scoring a fine goal with a shot from distance in the 90th minute.

Maxwell's strike followed goals from Rob Earnshaw and Leon Jeanne and City ran out comfortable winners.

Bristol Rovers were reduced to 10 men after a second yellow card earned a Rovers player an early bath.

The crowd was 391 and it was a 6th game unbeaten for the reserves.
