Mark
Hughes has included Rob Earnshaw and Daniel Gabbidion in the Wales squad for the friendly
against Germany in Cardiff on May 14th. Earshaw has missed the last couple of Wales games through injury but this time Mark Hughes is keen to get Earnie involved. Hughes told the Echo "I've tried to get Robert Earnshaw involved on a couple of occasions, but he's missed out through injuries. Hopefully there will be no injury worries this time, he'll be able to join the squad and I will be able to get him on at some stage. He has the one ingredient you need at international level and that's pace. I'm looking to see whether he can step up to international level. Daniel Gabbidon, his Cardiff clubmate, came into the team for the last match and imposed himself. He did very well." Rhys Weston and Scott Young, who were both called up as late replacements to the squad for the Czech game, are not named in the lastest squad. |
