For the second Saturday in a row City are without a game. Its another chance for the other teams to exert some pressure on the Bluebirds.

Hartlepool are the team to look out for, they are unbeaten in over 20 games and can reduce City's advantage in the promotion places to just 1 point if the beat Halifax today. Cardiff will of course though have 3 games in hand. One of them at Cheltenham on Sunday, and the next game in hand will be played at Ninian Park on Wednesday against Barnet.

At the top of Div 3 leaders Chesterfield entertain Southend, not the easiest of ties for Chesterfield but one that they should win. The date for their hearing with the FA is set for April 10th and they could ind themselves in all sorts of trouble if they have points deducted. Shame. Cheaters never win.

2nd place Brighton are also at home, they play Mansfield, City will drop to 3rd if Brighton get at least a draw.

Hartlepool in 4th I mentioned, they are the only real threat left to City. Orient in 5th are 11 points behind City and have played a game more, they go to Darlington today but are realistically too far behind to trouble the Bluebirds. Same goes for Blackpool in 6th, 12 points behind, played 1 game more, the Tangerines are at Exeter today.

So its come on Halifax.

I would like to stick by my earlier predictions that City will go up with Chesterfield** and Brighton (** League charges pending) and that 12 more points for City should be enough.

At the bottom of the table last place Torquay entertain play off chasing Hull and second bottom Halifax as we know will be trying to help themselves and City by getting a result at Hartlepool.
