It has been revealed that Peter Thorne did actually suffer a tear in his hamstring. It was hoped the striker would be fit for this weekends game at Wrexham but Alan Cork has confirmed the player will be out for a couple more weeks.

A realistic target for Thorne could be the FA Cup game in 18 days time.

Michael Simpkins though will be a lot longer. The left back has his leg in a brace and will continue to do so for upto 5 weeks. Then he will have to train up to match fitness.

The players suffering from chaest infections last weekend, Andy Legg, Rhys Weston and Daniel Gabbidon are having a couple of days off and will be fit foir the trip to Wrexham.
