Cardiff
City line up against Peterborough tonight with Leo FW hoping to follow Gavin Gordon's
lead. In round 1 Gavin put 5 past Rushden in a 7 - 1 home win. Leo gets his chance tonight
as Gavin is rested along with the full starting line up from last Saturday. Providing
there are no further problems with that squad they are likely to start against Wrexham
next Sunday. Leo spearheads Ian Butterworths team and he will be joined in attack by Josh Low and James Collins. Mark Bonner, Des Hamilton and Layton Maxwell make up the midfield with Gethin Jones at right back, Scott Young and David Hughes in central defence with Scott McCulloch making his first appearance of the season. Mark Walton will be in goals. Alan Cork has said he will stick with a similar line up throughout the competition. The winners of tonights game will go into Friday nights draw for the Southern 1/4 finals. The draw is being held on Radio 5 Live at 7:45pm. Posh are bringing a 23 man squad to Ninian Park. I would guess thats more than the number of supporters who will be coming. Barry Fry will name his starting XI before kick off, the squad is Tyler, Joseph, Edwards, Rea, Williams, Cullen, Bullard, Oldfield, Jelleyman, Fenn, McKenzie, Hooper, Green, Murray, Shields, Danielsson, French, Farrell, Connor, Pearce, Clarke, Forinton, MacDonald. |
