The statement says that Atkins and the club have parted complany. It is stated that the club brought in Atkins as experienced help for Alan Cork but its felt that a different kind of assistance was needed.

Atkins has been directly and indirectly blamed by most fans for the poor form of late. His stamp has been evident in several of the performances.

With the rumour that Dave Bassett is about to come to Ninian Park we could see a turnaround in our season.
