An
un-named Norwich City spokesman has confirmed City's interest in Iwan Roberts but has said
he is not for sale. The spokesman said "Mr Hammam did phone our chairman Bob Cooper to ask about the availability of Iwan Roberts and was told politely that he is not for sale. "Iwan's present contract expires at the end of the season. But the manager is on record as saying that he is very much part of his plans and is looking to discuss a new contract with him at some stage. "He is a big favourite with the Norwich fans." Meanwhile a player that has signed for City is Leon Jeanne. The former Wales U21 player has put pen to paper on a 1 year full time contract. |
