A
City reserve team were beaten by a single goal in a bad tempered match at Weston Super
Mare. The only goal came early in the second half. The first half saw an appalling challenge on Mark Bonner which saw the player being taken to hospital and a mass brawl on the pitch as a result. City lined up, Kendall, Hughes, Jones, Giles, Evans, Maxwell, Bonner, Boland, Brayson, Nugent, Bowen. James Collins came on to replace Mark Bonner. Martyn Giles was sin binned soon after the Bonner incident and told to cool down by the referee. |
