| January Headlines |
Cardiff complete their group games in the FAW Cup tonight with an away match against
Cwmbran. But because of problems at the Cwmbran Stadium the game will actually be played
at Ninian Park. City will look to give the substitutes and reserve players a run out tonight. Gavin Gordan and Paul Brayson, the two unused subs from Macclesfield look favourites to start up front. Players like Kurt Nogan, Danny Hill, Dave Greene and Jeff Eckhardt will all be looking to impress. With Lee Kandall cup tied Paul Buttery could take over the No. 1 shirt for tonight. A win for City would earn them maximum £'s from the group games. City have already earned a home draw from the 1/4 finals. Cwmbran would need to beat City by 4 goals and hope for other results to go there way to have a hope of progressing. |
