Cardiff City are expected to be unchanged after the quick recovery of striker Gavin Gordon.

If Scott Young's inclusion in the team against Reading was the first miracle of Christmas then Gavin's availability to play against Bristol City must surely be the second. They say good things come in three's, a Thorne in the side would be nice, Peter that is.

As always it's a must win game. Bristol are 6 points ahead of Cardiff in 4th place. The Bluebirds can go 5th in Reading fail to win at Wrexham, in fact City are the only team in the top 6 at home, leaders Brentford are at Tranmere, Stoke are at Huddersfield and Brighton are at Blackpool. Bristol City are obviously at Ninian Park and the Royals as mentioned go to Wrexham.

Brentford, Stoke and Brighton all have 45 points, only 7 ahead of City. It makes you think what would have happened if we had not drawn so many game this season, only Brighton have lost less than us so far.

City then expect to line up

Alexander, Gabbidon, Prior, Young, Gordon D, Kavanagh, Bonner, Boland, Bowen, Gordon G, Earnshaw. Subs Leo FW, Legg, Maxwell, Brayson, Weston.

Its another game this season where records that have stood for generations could be broken, it was April 1971 when the Bluebirds last recorded a home win over the Wurzels. 30 years is long enough to wait.

Kick off at Ninian Park is 3:00pm. After three straight draws a win is long overdue.

Bristol City will bring the biggest away following so far this season with over 1500 tickets sold.
