City produced a much better performance as they were held at home by leaders Brighton. Brighton were gited the lead when Rhys Weston headed back to Neil Alexander. Unfortunately the Scotsman was racing off his line to get the ball. Rhys' header went over Alexander and looked certain to be an own goal but custodian managed to scoop the ball off the line and Zamora gratefully accepted the gift. Brighton then sat back and it took until the 80th minite for City to score their equaliser. Leon Jeanne and Andy Legg were on the pitch as was Jason Bowen. A Legg cross was met by Bowen who saw his header hit the post, Paul Brayson though was on hand to pop the ball into the empty net. |
