The fixtures for next seasons Avon Insurance Combination reserve league have been
announced. City start the campaign at home against Southend on Wednesday Aug 15th at Ninian Park, ko 2pm. City follow that with a league cup game against Reading at Ninian Park, ko 2pm on Monday 20th. The first away match is at Peterborough on Wednesday August 29th. The season runs until April with the final game planned to be at Colchester on Apr 17th. This reserve league is a massive boost to Cardiff City where players who are not in the first team can keep match kit and prepare for the step up into the first team. It will also enable players returning from injury to get regular competitive football. The full fixture list will be added to the reserve fixtures page over the next couple of days. City will also be playing reserve teams like Luton, Millwall, Gillingham, Bristol City, Norwich and Palace. |
