City are keen to stress that there will be no more tickets available
from Cheltenham for this Sundays game. Those who do not have a ticket are asked not to
travel. The game is being screened live at Ninian Park and tickets cost £5 in advance /
£6 on the day. There will be hot food and drink available and full bar access starting at
11am. You can have a pint while you are watching the screen as well. There is a certain
number of places available for a "special package" for £15 you can have a seat
in the directors box and use the private bar facilities. A hot meal after after the game
is also included. There is better ticket news for the match against Darlington. Originally only around 700 tickets were allocated but City have now been given full use of the South Terrance which can accomodate around 2,000 fans. Tickets for that game are now on sale and they are £7 / £4. Hartlepool away is the last game of the season. City only have 700 odd tickets for that game. A big screen has aleady been planned so as many fans can see the last game of the season. Sam is planning to hold a party after the game (probably the following day) to celebrate not only promotion (fingers crossed) but the end of his first season in charge. Details to follow. City's other remaining away games are at York on Sat 21st April, it is pay at the gate with over 3,600 spaces available and at Mansfield on April 24th where again it is pay on the gate and the Stags can accomodate over 2,500 fans. Tickets for all City's home games can be purchased in advance either from the club or on line at the official website www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk. Rhys Weston, Lee Kendall and Kevins Evans will face no further punishment after being dropped for from the Wales U21 squad after breaking a curfew in Armenia. The boys have learnt a harsh lesson and that is deemed to be enough. Kurt Nogan and Andrew Jordan have been remprimanded by City boss Alan Cork after claims the players responded to complaining fans after Mondays FAW Cup exit. Nogan and Jordan were seen swearing and gesturing to City fans who were unhappy with the teams perfomance. Julian Alsop, the former Swansea striker, will miss Cheltenhams match against City on Sunday. Alsop is out with a back injury. Gavin Gordan is hoping to be fir for Sundays game after a reoccurance of his thigh strain during the game against Merthyr. |
