Cork says he is still keeping an open mind on his exact starting XI for Wycombe in two
weeks time but you feel that the line up tomorrow will provide nearly all the answers.
City have anounced a full strength side. The declared line up is Alexander, Weston, Legg, Simpkins, Prior, Gabbidon, Hamilton, Kavanagh, Low, Gordan, Earnshaw. Subs to be named. Crystal Palace will provide tougher oppostion that the previous friendly opponents and it will be a good footballing test City. Cork has told his players to pass the ball and not to be reckless and risk injuring themselves. City then will parade their new star signings incuding £million skipper Graham Kavanagh. Palace will themselves hope to play their new £million striker, Andy Campbell who signed for the Eagles last night from Middlesbrough. City have scored 12 goals in three matches in the last 5 days while Palace have only conceeded one goal in their 4 pre season games to date. They have won all four scoring 15 times. Kick off at Ninian Park is at 3:00pm. The Grange End is planned to be open. Tickets are £6 (£4) with £1 off for season tickets holders with a voucher. The same price structure will apply when City entertain relegated Coventry City next Wednesday. |
