What a month of February we have to look forward to. Next Friday Cardiff entertain Rochdale at Ninian Park. Rochdale are currently 5th in the table 6 points behind City but they could close that gap when they play Orient on Sunday 28th Jan. If the prospect of a top of the table clash is not mouth watering enough then how about it being a chance for City to earn a 10th straight league win at Ninian Park. A feat never acheived before, ever. Its going to be a 10,000 plus crowd I'm sure, it would be advisable to book your tickets on line or via the ticket office. Details at www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk.

City then have a small break of 8 days before another massive game. This time away at Brighton. The teams are level on points at the moment and both look likely to push on for promotion with Chesterfield. Brightons small Withdean Stadium is already sold out and it is not reccomended to travel without tickets. The location of the ground means you will get nowhere near it without a ticket. The ground only holds just over 6,000. Please stay away and avoid trouble if you do not have a ticket.

The Brighton game is that start of a run of 5 games in 15 days. With the need to breakaway at the top to ease the pressure this could be a vital period in the teams progress to division 2.

After Brighton on the 10th City travel to Blackpool on Tuesday 13th for the re-arranged game. That was all ticket first time around with tickets purchased for that match valid for this one. I'm not sure if a pay at the gate option is now available, Blackpool are undertaking massive ground redevelopment and space is at a premium.

Next up on Sat 17th is Scunthorpe, hopefully City will be looking for an 11th stright win at Ninian and if they are you can be sure the tickets will be like hot cakes.

Midweek action follows again with a trip to The Shay, Halifax on Tuesday 20th.

Then the final game of the month is "local derby" against Kidderminster, along with Cheltenham this game is about the least distance for City fans to travel. The game has been moved from Saturday 24th Feb to Sunday 25th Feb, Worthington Cup final day in Cardiff. Kick off is at 12 midday and again it is all ticket for all fans. Tickets are not yet available for this game.

So to sum up, after the final FAW Premier Cup group game against Cwmbran on Tuesday City face 6 straight league games. in 23 days, the last 5 of them in 15 days. A time for us to pull out the stops to keep the support up and help the boys onto as many wins as possible.
