City drew for the third match in a row in front of Ninian Park's second biggest crowd of the season. Over 16,000 fans saw Earnie twice give City the lead but twice Reading came back. Earnie scored in the first half after a super run saw him beat thre men before firing low into the goal and with 23 mins to go he finished off when Paul Brayson looked to have scored.
Other results went our way today with Stoke and Brighton also drawing and Bristol City and Brentford losing. City must beat Bristol City on Saturday to show we are promotion contenders. Too many draws at the moment.
