Tonight sees the return to action of Mark Bonner and Andy Thompson after long term
injuries. Jason Fowler is in the squad and expected to start on the bench. Carl Muggleton
will make his City debut. Thompson was injured as Kurt Nogan scored City's second goal in a 2 - 0 win at Penydarryn Park in the FAW group stages. Mark Bonner suffered his ankle trouble in the home game v Macclesfield just before Christmas. This match is technically a home game for City but because Wales are using Ninian Park it has been swapped to Merthyr. The winners tonight will go through to a two legged semi final against either Swansea, Wrexham or the winners from the unplayed game between Barry and TNS. City v Merthyr.
