This Saturday City will face their toughest pre season test. Crystal Palace come to Ninian Park on the back of several pre season victories.

Palace started off on tour in Spain. The Eagles won comfortably 4 - 0 against little known San Pedro. Their scond game was against Cacovec and Palace were 2 - 0 winners.

On returning to the UK they have been on tour in the West Country. Firstly a 2 - 1 win over Tiverton followed by a 4 - 0 thumping of Torquay last Saturday. Clinton Morrison scoring twice. Morrison was at it again last night when Palace put 5 past Exeter City without reply. Two from Morrison and two from Dougie Freedman, the player who scored the goal that kept palace in Division one on the last day of last season.

So 5 games and 5 wins. And scoring plenty of goals as well. Saturday should be a cracking game. The match is pay at the gate £6 for adults, season ticket holders get a reduction of £1 on production of a voucher. The front of the Bob bank and ther Grange End are still being worked on so will not be open for supporters.
