City could only manage a goalless draw against lowly Notts County at Meadow Lane. It was only the second time City had failed to score in a game this season and the frustration on the faces of the 1500+ fans who travelled was plain to see. Many were calling for Alan Cork to resign or be sacked, one or the other. Cork kept faith with James Collins but dropped Leo and brought in Kevin Nugent, a player most fans expected to be playing for Colchester at 3pm on Saturday. Dean Gordon made his debut at left back. The fayre was dour, the team selection and formations were baffling and City are left with another mark in the drawn games column. Its not good enough. |
