The crowd sang "Its just like watching Brazil" and at times in the first half it was like that. City were superb and could have scored 6 goals. All in all it was a fair result and credit to Alan Cork and the players they are getting it right. Rhys Weston played well and Jason Bowen is in great form. Earnie did a somersault after his goal (see earlier news article saying Cork has banned him), Earnie will have to pay a fine and get a rollicking for his enthusiasm. Spencer Prior is starting to play like the class defeder he is and he got a headed goal as well. That was City's first win at Vale Park since 1946 but more importantly it was a second away win in 4 days and a second consecutive clean sheet with 5 goals scored in our favour. City have now gone 5 leauge games unbeaten and they have continued an amazing run of scoring in every game played so far this season. Next up Tranmere at Ninian Park on Saturday. In this form City should have nothing to fear. Great support again from the City fans who totally outsung the sparce Vale crowd. |
