Spencer Prior will make his first team debut for Cardiff City at home to bottom of the table Bournemouth tomorrow. Prior is likely to replace David Hughes who has performed well in the last few games.

Prior could be City's only change from last Saturdays trip to Peterborough but Alan Cork did make a couple of midweek changes at Millwall. Leo FW, Paul Brayson and Willie Boland came in for Gavin Gordan, Josh Low and Des Hamilton. Hamilton was rested with a slight injury but should be fine for tomorrow. Kevin Nugent has been called into the squad. The striker has been out for 12 months with an achillies injury but has performed well in the reserves and has been called back into the squad. Nuge said

"It's a surprise, but the best I've had in ages. The manager passed me in the corridor after training and told me I was in the squad."

Leon Jeanne could also feature if he has completed his signing today. The youngster has been a star in the friendlies and was offered a full time contract yesterday, which, if he signs today will make him eligable.

The opponents, Bournemouth, have had a nightmare start to the season. Two league defeats and a Worthington Cup knockout against lowly Torquay. Their league record shows 0 points and 0 goals

City are odds on for a home win and with being unbeaten since April 2000 at Ninian Park a home win is surely the only outcome.

City have no game for two weeks when we travel to Reading on Sep 8th. Most other teams in the divison will play twice in that time so its vital for City get the three points as we will find ourselves playing catch-up and the season is only 2 weeks old already.

A crowd of over 10,000 will be at Ninian Park, hopefully more like 14 - 15,000.
