Scottish newspaper the Daily Record reports today that City have
offered £200,000 for Neil Alexander and the player is set to move. Alexander is said to
have been in Cardiff for talks and an introduction to the City.Alexander was born 10th March 1978 and has made 75 appearances for Livingstone culminating in promotion to the Scottish Premier League. His previous club was Stenhousemuir for whom he made 45 appearances. Neil was a regular Scottish U21 international.

Record. And Livvy will use the fee to finance the re-signing of Argentine shot-stopper Javier Sanchez Broto. Alexander is believed to have had a guided tour of Cardiff's Ninian Park and will almost certainly join the club which is owned by former Wimbledon chairman Sam Hamman. Boss Alan Cork guided the team into the Nationwide Second Division this season. Broto, who was brought to Scotland by Steve Archibald during his short reign at Airdrie, has signed a two-year deal with Livvy. He was a penalty shoot-out hero for the Diamonds against his new club in last November's Bell's Challenge Cup Final.
