Report from Daily Record.
LIVINGSTON keeper Neil Alexander is set to sign for Cardiff City for pounds 200,000.

And Livvy will use the fee to finance the re-signing of Argentine shot-stopper Javier Sanchez Broto.

Alexander is believed to have had a guided tour of Cardiff's Ninian Park and will almost certainly join the club which is owned by former Wimbledon chairman Sam Hamman.

Boss Alan Cork guided the team into the Nationwide Second Division this season.

Broto, who was brought to Scotland by Steve Archibald during his short reign at Airdrie, has signed a two-year deal with Livvy.

He was a penalty shoot-out hero for the Diamonds against his new club in last November's Bell's Challenge Cup Final.

mclaren.jpg (13655 bytes)It has also been reported today that City target Paul McLaren from Luton is also being tracked by second division play off finalists Walsall. Its thought the player will wait to see if Walsall can make promotion at the Millennium Stadium against Reading on Sunday before deciding on his future.
