Hartlepool closed the gap on City to 7 points after a 2 - 0 win at Plymouth. They
have now played a game more than City. Other
rivals Blackpool were beaten 2 -1 at Macclesfield while Orient were held 1 - 1 at home by
York City.
Hartlepool have now gone 19 games unbeaten, their last
defeat was at Ninian Park. They also have two home games this week before we play our next
match. Lincon on Tuesday and Halifax next Saturday, both clubs scrapping at the bottom so
lets hope they can take points off them. Blackpool and Orient both face tricky away
matches next Saturday at Exeter and Darlington respecively.
