Spencer Prior will make his league debut for Cardiff City against Bournemouth on Saturday. The £700K central defender has missed the first few games after his training fround accident which left him with a broken cheekboone.

He trained this morning and came through several heading tests and Cork has said he is likely to start.

Prior is a natural leader at the back and is the rock upon which City intend to build this season.

Prior's inclusion is likely to mean David Hughes will have to move back to the bench. Hughes has been outstanding since getting his chance in the opening game when Scott Young was injured but Prior is the first choice and will run out on Saturday.
