City will make at least one change to the side to entertain Reading at Ninian Park on Boxing, 12 noon. Scott Young is injured and Rhys Weston is expected to stay at right back with Daniel Gabbidon covering for Scott Young in central defence. Gabbidon is comfortable in both positions and its a chance for Rhys Weston to show he's learned from a spell in the reserves. Weston to his credit played a great game after coming on at Stoke in midweek. City go into two home games in a row with wins the priority. We've already beaten Reading on their own patch and we took a well deserved point at Ashton Gate against next Saturday's visitors Bristol City. City have proved they can live with the top teams in this division and with both Reading and Bristol City above us in the table at the moment they are huge games to win. Both games will produce crowds over 15,000. As of start of business on Friday 14,000 Reading tickets had been sold and over 12,000 Bristol City tickets. Fan's can queue separately for league tickets so they do not have to wait in the longer queue for tickets for Leeds United which will be a 20,000 sell out. Christmas holidays and family commitments mean I will only be able to offer limited updates to the site during the next 7 days but we should have full Reading reports updated before we kick off against Bristol City and then normal service will be resumed. Any breaking news will be talked about on the message board and there will be limited front page updates with breaking news and the score from the Reading game etc. |
