Billy Ayre, manager when we started last seasons promotion campaign, is again battling against cancer. Billy is now coaching at Bury FC and they have set up a forum for well wishers to support him.

Bury Football Club report with extreme regret, that Billy Ayre, the first team coach here at Gigg Lane, is bravely fighting a personal battle with Cancer.

Whilst respecting his personal wishes for privacy, Bury Football Club will be giving Billy their full support and wish him well on everyone's behalf for the greatest battle that he will face. It is expected that Billy will be fit to resume his post early September.

You can show your support to Billy Ayre by signing the "Best Wishes Billy Ayre" forum on the club Message Board. Registration is not needed and all messages received will be passed onto Billy. Also, you can e-mail your support to Billy by sending a message to "billy-ayre@buryfc.co.uk"
