| Mon 22nd Jan 2001 - More Wales invitations? | |
| January Headlines |
Two more Cardiff players have been linked to an invitation to La Manga to train with
the Wales squad. Striker Rob Earnshaw and defender Rhys Weston (combined ages only a
couple of years more than City's other expected traveller Andy Legg) are thought to be in
with a good chance of joining up with the likes of Ryan Giggs and Gary Speed on the Wales
get together in Spain at the end of February. With two world cup qualifiers coming up it will be an amazing chance for the youngsters to learn and possibly push themselves forward for a call up. Andy Legg was reported earlier today to be a fair chanced candidate for a call up to the world cup squad. For a third division team to even be linked with international representatives it amazing, well done to the players and the club as a whole for creating this opertunity. |
