 Press reports this afternoon are starting to suggest
that City are in for £1m rated Sheffield Utd winger Paul Devlin. The 29 year old has scored twice for Sheffield Utd in 8 games played this season but has been omitted from the squad that travel to Millwall for tomorrows Division 1 clash. The player is currently transfer listed and Blades boss Neil Warnock has said "I'm not under pressure to put Paul in the shop-window. The clubs that are interested in him already know him inside out before now and will be making their judgement on what they have seen over the past couple of years." Devlin its alleged has been in a dispute with Warnock over wages. Warnock will decide after the weekend if he will feature next week for the Blades. There is no official news on this story but it is sourced from ther Nationwide League website. Time will tell. |
