There
is no definate early team news from Cardiff City. It was reported yesterday afternoon that
Graham Kavanagh will be fit after taking a knock on his ankle against Northampton in
midweek. Alan Cork must decide whether to continue with the formation he used against Northampton which at times left Peter Thorne as the lone attacker. Bizarre when we are the home team against the bottom club in the league. No one can quite work out exact which formation we have been playing to, 4 - 5 - 1, 4 - 3 - 3 the plan seems to be to change it around as the game goes along. The fans choice would seem to favour some wing play in the team. Players like Leo FW and Peter Thorne are good in the air and would relish attacking crosses into the box. Cork could use Jason Bowen who played a full 90 minutes of reserve team football this week and / or Leon Jeanne. Jeanne has unlimited talent and the home crowd are desperate to see him given the chance to unleash him self on the oppositions defences. Huddersfield are certain to be without Chris Beech, their influential midfielder. Macari is set to favour a 4 - 4 - 2 formation after his 4 - 5 - 1 team against Wigan were beaten 1nil. Macari has signalled out Peter Thorne as one to watch. We agree with you there Lou, we will be watching him very carefully. Hopefully banging in the goals against you. |
