Blackpool blew their chance to close the gap on Cardiff and Brighton last night when they were beaten 1 - 0 at Orient. It now means that City have a 10 point gap over 4th placed Hartlepool and a 12 point gap over Blackpool and Orient.

Brighton aside, the only team with games in hand on us who could make an impression are Rochdale, but they would have to win all three of them to get within 10 points.

Hartlepool, Blackpool and Orient have all been dropping points recently and I cannot see any of them putting together a run of 6 - 7 wins to put us under pressure.

The play off battle will be a real scrap and I'm glad we are out of it. The Blues are going up.
