Collins gave City a 9th minute lead but Mangotsfield went in at half time level after a McCulloch and Perret mix up. Rob Claridge scoring on 36 mins.

Mangotsfield went in front from david Heal before Collins popped up to head an equaliser with 10 minutes to go.

City started (4-4-2) with Geri Evans in goal. Perrett, Gethin Jones, Matt Brazier and trial player Hogg across the back. Martyn Giles, Andy Thompson, Scott McCulloch and Leon Jeanne across the middle and Kevin Nugent and James Collins up front.

Reports suggest that Nugent played well on his return to action after nearly 9 months out. Russell Perrett was strong at the back and won everything in the air and Leon Jeanne was played on the right wing and improved as the game went on.

Fowler and Nogan came on for Brazier and Nugent. Heall came on for McCulloch and Ingram for Jones. Young keeper Mark Porter and T wallis were unused subs.

Further information on the game is not available but there was a feeling that Brazier, McCulloch, Fowler and Nogan did little to impress.
