reports yesterday afternoon suggested that Daniel Gbbidon was a potential target for
Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are closing in on a £7.5m move for Southampton's Dean Richards and they are thought to be looking elsewhere for defenders as well. Gabbidon was watched at Cambridge by Spurs' Chris Houghton and also by Wales coach Mark Bowen. 21 year old Gabbidon has been one of City's better performers so far this season and is tipped to be a full Wales international sooner rather than later. With City no longer a selling club Alan Cork said in response to Tottenham's interest "The golden rule at Cardiff City is that nobody is going anywhere." |
