City's official website have announced the squad for tomorrow's top of the table reserve
team clash at Queens Park Rangers. (Loftus Rd, 2pm). Rangers are currently top of the Avon Insurance League but a City win would see the Bluebirds go top. Q.P.R are the only side not to lose a game so far this season but they have had 5 draws to City's 3. City are matching them win for win and with a game in hand as well, a victory for City would see them in a strong position. City have recalled transfer listed players Matt Brazier, Kurt Nogan, Kevin Evans and Andy Thompson into the squad. There is no mention of Scott McCulloch or Andy Jordan. The full squad is Mark Walton, Gethin Jones, David Hughes, Byron Anthony, Martyn Giles, Nicky Fish, Simon Heall, Parkinson, Leon Jeanne, Josh Low, James Collins, Kevin Nugent, Kurt Nogan, Andy Thompson, Matt Brazier, Kevin Evans. With Peter Thorne injured Gavin Gordon and Leo FW are first choice to cover for him, there is a battle though for the next call up. Kevin Nugent, James Collins or Kurt Nogan could all step in. Nogan has been out in the cold for a long time and I think is more like Thorne where as Nugent and Collins and in the target man position like Leo. Kurt Nogan went puclic a month or two ago saying how much he still wants to play for Cardiff City, well if he gets time on the pitch tomorrow he must put in a performace to keep him in touch. Nogan is a proven goalscorer at Division 2 level but has a long way to go to get back into the team. Top 10
