City have named an unchanged squad for todays FA Cup clash against Tiverton at Ninian Park. Its a classic David v Goliath cup tie and would surely be the shock of the round if City's multi million pound team do not profress to round 2.

For Tiverton this is one of their biggest games ever, they have won back to back Wembley FA Vase finals but they have never played such a highly position league team before.

City, Sam, Cork and the FA Cup have good pedigree, City being winners in 1927 and Sam and Alan Cork  winning with Wimbledon in 1988.

Its thought that City will start with an unchanged XI today. Alexander, Gabbidon, Young, Prior, Legg, Brayson, Hamilton, Boland, Kavanagh, Earnshaw and Leo FW. There is no place for Rhys Weston who will also miss next Tuesday league game against Colchester through suspention.

The Club are expecting a 10,000 crowd today, with over 500 - 600 Tiverton supporters in the Canton Stand. Again Wales are playing rugby in the Millennium Stadium so a five figure crowd against non - league opposition is a great achievement.

The draw for round 2 takes place at approx 5.30 this afternoon and hopefully its Cardiff City who will be in the hat.

Todays game is the second of a treble of games at Ninian Park, so far 1 win out of 1 after last Saturdays win over Chesterfield. A win today would set us up nicely for a vital Div 2 clash on Tuesday. A win over Colchster would place us firmly in the play off picture and create the platform to look at the promotion spots.

As I mentioned above Tiverton have the Canton stand today, it's their home game and they have selected that part of the ground. For City fans there is no preference on ticket sales, all tickets are open to all fans. Prices are reduced for todays game.
