Wed 17th October 2001 - LDV second round

The draw for the secound round of the LDV Vans Trophy will take place on BBC Radio 5 at half time during tonights Man Utd Champions League game. (approx 8.30pm).

City will go into the second round draw along with

Bristol City
Cheltenham
Colchester
Dag & Red
Cambridge
Northampton
Brighton
Yeovil
Wycombe/Brentford
Southend
Bristol Rovers
Luton Town
Peterborough United
Reading

The next round is scheduled for week com 29th October. City have already re-arranged the home league game with Brentford for Tuesday 30th Oct so something will have to give.

I think the cup will probably take priority so the league game will have to be re scheduled. Possibly for one of two free midweeks we have in November (one of them FA Cup replay pending).

As soon as exact dates are available I will let you know.
