The
News of the World leads with an exclusive today that the Millennium Stadium could be a new
home for Cardiff City. The Council appear to be stalling on giving City the green light to
go ahead with a development at Leckwith so there have been alledged meeting between Sam
and the WRU. Sam is keem for City to have its own stadium but like all good leaders he has a contingency plan. The same story also appears in the Sunday Mirror. The Wales on Sunday have a big piece on the appointment to the City board of former Oldham Chairman Ian Stott and lawyer Johnathon Crystal. Stott is a Football League Director and Crystal is Terry Venables frormer right hand man. Both men carry extreme influence in football and are far better on our side than against us. They will work for Cardiff City and their knowledge will be an assett to Cardiff City as Sam attempts to take the Bluebirds to the heights of English football. Stott was heavily involved the decision to move the Wembley games to the Millenium Stadium and ironically he has fought with Crystal when Spurs went against the Football League Disciplinary Panel in a points deduction case against the North London team.
