City are back in second place in Div 3. Amazingly we were the only team to win out of the top 6.

Leaders Chesterfield drew 1 - 1 at home with Rochdale. The Spirites were grateful for an 89th minute equaliser. They remain top with 81 points, 10 ahead of City in second place.

Brighton are third after a 2 - 2 draw at 4th placed Hartlepool, that was a good result for City, we extended the gap over Hartlepool and jumped over Brighton. Richard Carpenter scored their first, Zamora their second.

Blackpool were surprisingly held 2 - 2 at home by Masfield, former City player Chris Greenacre continued his great season with 2 goals. Blackpool scored a late equaliser to gain a point.

Orient are 6th after drawing 1 - 1 at Shrewsbury.

Hull City are 7th after a 2 - 1 home win over Exeter.

At the bottom Halifax are still rooted to the floor after being beaten 4 - 2 at Cheltenham. Carlisle remain second bottom and Torquay 3rd bottom. Torquay did not play today.

To sum it up I think we are 4 wins max from promotion, 9 games to go. I'll do a team by team breakdown a bit later to back up my claim.
