City
kick off the 2001 / 2002 season with the first pre season friendly game at Merthyr Tydfil.
Kick off is at 7:45pm and a fair support from Cardiff is expected. It is recommended that you allow time to get to Merthyr as parking around the ground can be a nightmare. Alan Cork has said he would like to try out as many players as possible on Wednesday. Its expected that City will field a first half XI and a second half XI with substitutions in both halves as well. Graham Kavanagh is unlikely to be involved. Cork does not want to rush him into action after a double hernia operation. The player is fit and in full training but its thought he will take part in te friendly's in a week or so. City fans will be hoping to see the new signings in action and there will be massive support for the squad. |
