City are aiming to bounce back from two away defeats in the last 6 days and pick up a much needed win at Ninian Park tomorrow.

The Bluebirds are unbeaten at home all season and will be expected to continue that run tomorrow. Scunthorpe will be happy with a point from the meeting but City must shake off the blues of not scoring for the last three games and aim for the victory.

City still have the same squad to choose from with the upcoming suspensions to Leo FW, Gavin Gordan and Josh Low not due to start until the end of next week. Dave Hughes is set to make his Ninian Park debut. At the time of writing there are no new injury worries.

Scunthorpe have had injury problems this week. Left back Andy Dawson picked up a knee injury against Rochdale in midweek and misses the game, the Iron have no real cover for that position. Something Josh Low could exploit perhaps. Scunny were also dealt a major blow when winger Peter Morrison broke his leg, the compound fracture caused the reserve game in which he was playing to be abandoned. The Iron do bring Bjarni Larusson back into the team after suspension.

So City have had a blip in their quest for promotion, all sides do. We are still third, we have a squad full of talent and ability and I still expect to ensure automatic promotion. What the players need is the full and continued support of the City fans. There is a clash with the rugby at Murrayfield tomorrow but set the video for that, or watch the highlights in the pub later. From 3pm be at Ninian Park. We had nearly 12,000 for our last home match, lets make sure we go through the 10,000 barrier at least.

My prediction. 2 - 0 to City.
