Reliable sources have revealed late on Wednesday that a deal between Cardiff City and
Spencer Prior could be back on. A three year deal at a level below the players current
wages was not enough to temp him to drop to Division 2 but the word is that Sam has
increased the length of the contract to 4 years and included generous bonuses based on
promotion. There is no doubt that Spencer Prior will be a big asset to Cardiff City and the manner in which he has conducted himself over the failure of the last talks has shown he is a committed player who has passion. Cardiff City are a Divison 2 team with Divison 1 ideas. The signing of Des Hamilton from Newcastle, Ian Alexander from the SPL and hopefully Spencer Prior will alert many other players to the potential of Cardiff City FC. More news as it happens. |
