OK so the Leeds game in the Cup is a massive day for Cardiff City. It will all be in vain though if City allow it to ruin their chances of promotion. Before Jan 6th City have 5 league games, 15 points on offer that could make or break our season.

The first game is at Bloomfield Rd this Saturday. Blackpool are trying to secure Chesterfield's Luke Beckett as a new signing after losing top striker Brett Ormerod to Southampton.

City are almost certain to replace Andy Legg with Dean Gordon. That could be the only change as City look to continue their impressive form.

A result against Blackpool would give City a high confidence level before meeting Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium next Wednesday.

Its time now to keep close attention on Division 2. Bread and butter stuff. If we want to play the likes of Leeds every week we have to get up there.
